Advanced Analytics with SQL Server R 2016

SQL Server 2016 includes an important new feature: R Services.   R is the de facto language of many data scientists and with R now being integrated with SQL Server, organizations have the power to turn their SQL Servers into intelligent machines that can learn and inform.

This session will appeal to data scientists looking to understand how SQL Server 2016 can take their experiments to the next level.  SQL and BI experts will get an understanding of how R can up their game.

Demos will include introductory R solutions focused on predicting fraudulent credit card activity.  We’ll walk through data cleansing, model training, creating an R stored procedure, and visualizing data with SSRS and Power BI. You’ll leave knowing more about R and how it can unlock the potential of your own data.
